The State of Fairfax seeks to advance democratic governance, excellence in public administration, equitable provision of public services, and efficient use of public resources by raising awareness of the benefits of greater devolution and more efficient and responsive local governments in Fairfax County, in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and in the United States.
